Dan Mallett
EVP, Research and Analytics

Dan Mallett is the Executive Vice President of Research and Analytics at Scarborough Research. Dan functions as the leader of the teams that manage Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation initiatives, Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) verifications, client data integration initiatives, developing and testing methodological improvements, and custom analytics projects. A consultant with Scarborough for 15 years prior to accepting his full time position, Dan's other responsibilities include working with Scarborough's team of research professionals to ensure the company's high-level data quality, focusing on response rates, sample proportionality initiatives, and PRIME NExT software enhancements.

The majority of Dan's career has been spent as an independent statistical consultant for clients such as Simmons, Millward Brown and IBOPE. During Dan's tenure as a Scarborough consultant, he was essential to many research accomplishments, including the MRC accreditation of the company's local and multi-market syndicated studies. In addition to this work with Scarborough, Dan's previous experience includes work as a statistical and custom analytics expert with Arbitron Inc., IAG, ABC and TAB.

Dan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University and a Master of Philosophy degree from Columbia University. He is a frequent presenter at industry forums and a published author.
